Re: Roleplay request

While I wish that could be the case, I think people are far to interested in the reward of winning rather than the reward of awesome role playing. Though perhaps someone could set up a design contest to make the cost effective, portable, opaque structures to use an in-game obstacles.

This is quite the two-way street that was just opened up...In which case I wonder if any of those male minimal coverage garments come in black and red?

Re: May 6th Battle

I dig the weighted object idea, I'd really like to see this happen. Though each object should have an Elder specifically watching them who can call hold at anything they feel makes the situation unsafe, or disallow a player to be a carrier if it's noted that they are inadvertantly endangering themse...

Re: Documentary

No offense intended but if I had seen that documentary before I started playing I probably never would have joined the game. It really didn't do a good job of representing us. Though I'm sure it'd make a boring cinema for the muggles if they just filmed it as regular folk who enjoy a hobby that wasn...

Re: need help with sewing machine... :)

Hate to break it to you but unless you can find someone who really knows what they're doing or if the damage is only superficial it might not be worth the time and effort to get those machines up and running again. The new Singers are notorious for being low-quality machines and depending on what yo...

Any way you could post the dimensions of the pauldorns and snap a picture of the back of them? Want to make sure they will fit and connect proper with my other armor pieces but, I'm definitely interested in them.

Re: Dagger Clarification

I think that's any part that could come in contact with another player. I.E. The blade that leads up to the handle. Though despite how it looks, you can only use it as a stabbing weapon, not a slashing.

Re: death proposal

Actually that is already covered under the death rule. However in most cases when you suffer enough wounds to go down you are considered mortally wounded. Reference the bottom of page 86 to the top of page 88. As the book states... "...Players who are mortally wounded will die five minutes afte...

Re: Multiple Counter-Attacks in land actions

It would probably be good to put a stipulation on mercenaries or any non-country member who aided in the defense. The thought is that only the specific non-country member from the defensive action can aid in the counter attack. (Though that member may opt not to join the counter attack.) Example bei...

Re: Role Playing Guild Charter

Re: Question about death on the field...

I always take that with a dose of common sense, though I do like a good death fall, it's a fun tid-bit of acting and I'm sure other players enjoy the flavor. So here's so tips: You never want to lay yourself out in a way that could be hazardous to yourself or others. I find that staying crouched wit...

Re: Costuming

I am really unsure about the 5 foot rule. Grey areas like that cause arguments and confusion. If something does not pass upon inspection, then it should not pass at 5 feet. Everything else you mention is good. But at this point I really feel we are getting into the details that should be left to th...

Re: Costuming

I'm completely on-board for holding the players to higher level of costuming. Along with the single 1-handed weapon rule, I would also suggest that the player be considered armor-less and class-less until they fix their garb. While repeat offenders will lose their class credit for that day. When it ...
