Re: The Rogue 2.0
The only way to reduce duration is by adding last rites into assassination somewhere.

Re: The Scoundrel/ The Rogue
So you're saying we should remove detect disguise levels too? What I think should be in it's place is that torture gets 3 questions during the 5 min interogation, instead of just 1.

Re: The Scoundrel/ The Rogue
I strongly disagree with the level 20...anyone can be tortured. Regardless of what some people think, I know thieves and assassins who play the class enjoy earning levels so they can't be detected or tortured. I will vote against this proposal as it is currently

Multiple Noble Characters
I'm looking in the rulebook for the entry describing that a noble player and each of their characters are considered a "Noble" of some sort. Does that rule actually exist, I'm pretty sure I remember it being voted on.

Re: Disguise Fake Noble/Household/Country
on the other thread, there is talk about not being able to disguise as your own country. By the rules, "A Thief may disguise himself as a member of another country (i.e. wearing their surcoat) but may not disguise himself as a specific character. When in disguise, the Thief must wear some physi...

Re: Discussion - Disguised as...MY OWN COUNTRY
I believe that Good disguises should be roleplayed with. I also believe that poor disguises should not be roleplayed with. The problem with darkon, is that most people tend to look at the face and call you that character, regardless of what you are wearing.

Re: Discussion - Disguised as...MY OWN COUNTRY
As far as disguising as your own country, I think it's a little cheesy if an assassin does it in order to not be personally blamed for an assassination, but at the same time I don't think that it should be limited to where a player cannot disguise as one of his own countrymen. Years ago, I made a po...

Re: Discussion - Disguised as...MY OWN COUNTRY
I see that you are not picking on Nurgle, but what are you insinuating? I know in what events you are speaking of, and I think you are OOC misinformed at what happened. It was really interesting that there was so much confusion during that whole situation, but not a single elder or anyone posting ab...

Re: Prayer Touch question
Understood.
Is it the clarification of the president now? or of the magistrate? I know the bylaws have changed, I'm just not sure.
Also, I apologize for my ridiculousness, in honesty, all that wasn't said for arguement, more so for understanding and clarification

Re: Open Letter to the Realm from Lord Dubh
OOC: The players of darkon are to encourage roleplay. I hope everyone that has been following this thread understands that, especially when it comes to disguise. If our countries are representations of large armies, is it even slightly possible to know every single face? Every name of everyone? Of c...

Re: Prayer Touch question
I agree, This whole topic has become ridiculous. However, the whole intent on prayer touch, was a lay hands spell such as burning hands. A kind of spell that uses the palms of the casters hands to pass a spell or spell-like affect through. Should mages be allowed to use burning hands with fist bumps...

Re: Prayer Touch question
So if a fist bump can dispell a prayer touch, anything that touches the cleric with prayer touch active will dispell it. Such as if a gold piece fell and hit the clerics foot, or if a butterfly lands on the clerics head. Then by that rule, technically when it is raining, prayer touch can't be used b...

Re: Prayer Touch question
What level of power is required with a closed fist to fall into the "punch" category. Or if a fist bump isn't considered a punch, would it even be considered a "hit" to dispell someone?

Re: A proposal for arguement & assassins!
I like it, red rule book, with amendments for the safety rules of today, we could wipe the land map clean and every current country starts from scratch, reset all holy weapons and all special prizes for both the players and the countries. Just a whole darkon reset. Hasn't this been talked about befo...

Re: A proposal for arguement & assassins!
Assassins are the anti-hero, the antagonist class. Assassins aren't warm and cuddly, so they are meant to be a grieving class. As far as out of character grieving, it happens. Some people don't like it. Some people in darkon also walk off the field after being fireballed during a bridge battle where...

Re: A proposal for arguement & assassins!
Actually one hour assassinations are useless regardless of what powers and abilities you give it. If it existed, it would be absolute decline of the Assassin class in Darkon. More so than it already is.
