I love you, Fingers.
I think saying "X person did Y and Z and is thus Q" is a good middle ground, just leave out things overly specific. I trust we can all think of an example as to why this is a good idea?

Mark it up as in put down a Check Mark for ok, or a big fat red X if it's not? Either that or these inserts seem like a good idea. Up with Accountability and Responsibility!

Re: Darkon Coin
I think he meant the Energy Drink, Monster. Not his..never mind. I don't want coin to go away either, I spent almost 60 coin at camp out on potions and food. I've seen some people saying that part of the issue is that there isn't enough things to spend coin on that would help out the coin shortage p...

Re: Discussion - Remove offensive spells
Id rather have monks armor over steelskin any day. Ignore one hit THEN leather everywhere. This comes in handy tons more than steelskin, as Im often hit in the limbs (multiple) with white/yellow weapons. I can take more of those with leather/iron, then chill out and mend it for free all day long LO...

Re: Proposal - Spell Disruption
I've been told by a few vets that you're allowed to read out your spell, sans Invocation, move up to 5 paces, and then you're required to read the Invocation, and if your spell requires a ball to be thrown, you do so immediately after finishing your Invocation. Would this proposal force you to remai...

Why not wear your Gambeson under your armor? "I don't have any" you'll probably reply. 50-75 bucks at Tandy, some elbow grease and willpower fixes that.

Re: Discussion - Remove offensive spells
When you bitch at people for not having armor, try to remember that armor can be tedious, difficult and expensive to make or acquire, and that not everyone has access to the disposable income necessary to own and maintain armor. Decent garb is easier to come by, especially for those who sew. The arm...

Re: Discussion - Remove offensive spells
I take pride in my Druid's spells. Every line I use for his spells read like a prayer to my Deity, the Mother of all Nature. I would fully support an overhaul on the rules for what constitutes acceptable words for spells. Throwing one syllable words together, especially ones that rhyme with a lot of...

Re: Discussion - Remove offensive spells
What if we remove Fireball, and replace it with an AoE Lightning Bolt? It would deal the same damage as an ordinary lightning bolt spell, so you're not mortal or dead right off the bat, but you and anyone within 3ft. of you takes black damage to whatever part of your body it hit (ie, if you get hit ...

Spell Ball construction.
I'm going to be making new spell balls, and have a few questions about the best way to build them. I will most likely be using cotton strips (old t-shirts) for padding, but what fabric/material is best used to serve as the outer shell? How big of a piece or pieces should I use so that the spell ball...

Re: Proposal- Mages and White axes
Right, that's what I'm saying. Mages may use Daggers, and white swords, which can have red tips. So maybe there's some intrinsic RP mental gymnastics I'm missing, but I don't see the crisis of swung versus stab red that Inox is so concerned about.

Re: Proposal- Mages and White axes
I'm sorry, do swung reds do extra damage or something (hit damage, not, "ow you're swinging too hard" damage)? Are we now supposed to RP our weapon choices based on the psuedo-realistic physical prowess or lack thereof for our characters based on their class? *, if that's the case, might a...

Re: Proposal- Mages and White axes
So if Mages are allowed to use white swords, which can have stabbing tips, then why couldn't they be allowed to use a white axe with a stab spike? You should counter prop to have white swords taken away from them, if that's how you feel.

Re: Lifting The Normal Campout Restrictions on Kids for Bell
Most 16 year olds know plenty of expletives from their friends, family or tv, and if they have a computer device and functional internet, they most likely are pretty familiar with "nudity" (cough pronz cough). Granted, randomly seeing boobs or a dude's junk waving around aren't exactly fun...

I always respond truthfully when asked that, but if someone acknowledges me with a head bob or nod, I reply in kind, and continue on my way. Sure, I risk being cut down from behind, but just randomly attacking anyone I see once a fight reaches the two or three minute mark is silly. I don't recall an...

I think he meant you, but to clarify my post: If Tom Tool brings Steve Snack to Darkon for one day, and then Tom gets a bonus credit, but then Steve never comes back out to Darkon, we should take away one credit from Tom, unless of course Steve cannot return because he is either dead, terminally ill...
