Re: 2012 Elections - Humor

I fail to understand why people who intend to run have not said anything. The Club needs time to decide on who it intend to elect, waiting to the last minute is unfair to everyone involved and is in no way the way to run an organization. Another example of why we need the coming bylaws approved, to ...

Re: Regarding new members and the 'five event' rule

Guess a better answer for you would be:

We would like something similar to the winery. Easy to park, easy to load and unload (it is not at our current site) and has a reasonable fee. Acreage would vary since how much we can use is what matters.

Our current site is 13 acres of and no parking. We park on the neighbors lands.

Re: Regarding new members and the 'five event' rule

Oh, there was still considerable drinking back then! But, yes, in camp outs back then fighting was 'game-on' from post-set up Friday until late in the afternoon Sunday. Kind'a sad to hear that might not be the case any longer but does add perspective to how newb events are counted. Well, the site w...

Re: NQ is defunct

Saying you play by the rules as they are written and then get mad when they are enforced does not make a good argument. While I support giving you guys a break, simply because I think you deserve it, it does not absolve you from your * up. To keep the support you have, your best next step is to ask ...

Re: Cavalier - Replace Omitted Text

So the NC noticed this and I was hoping I could make a ruling on it, but there is nothing unclear about the rule. What is clear is that the requirement for the class to be 10th rank or higher is missing and I can't just put it back in since it is a game rule. So I am submitting this on behalf of the...

Cavalier - Replace Omitted Text

Replace: Any character that is a Knight of the Realm may become a Cavalier, by giving up all ranks in the class being given up to become a 1st rank Cavalier provided that the player has won a Noble Council Tournament. Cavaliers are characters who serve a particular god, or crusade for a cause. They ...

Re: NQ is defunct

Then allow me to use this voice. If the Senate were to allow NQ to be restored as they were prior to going defunct, I would support it in the EB. I would also like to see a policy in place that requires the Land Marshal to inform the country leader one event before the country goes defunct. (This ma...

Re: Armor Changes - Inox

I stated this once already but I will state it again. Should this proposal pass anything with a reference to AR in the rulebook will be edited by the EB to accommodate the new rules. List of examples: All class descriptions disguise backstab armbands As for balance - this proposal is not too far off...

Our Copyright

So when we first talked about chapter the EB came up with a copyright notice. The intent was to allow people to use our rules WITHOUT the name Darkon. Not sure where the "in-writing" part came from since that is counter to what President Bill Plunket argued. Either way, to make the rules m...

Re: Consolidate Spells in Rulebook

They are going to put in spell description class word counts if they are different. Like W - 125, D - 150. And I'm sure they will add into Mending a line about Druids not being able to mend metal or large items like gates and ships. This is a good solution. Let me do a couple and post them here so ...

Re: New Rule Book?

It was a formatting change. You will also note that it prints at 97 pages instead of 295.

The EB is reformatting the book, not making edits. The only editing going on are the rules that get passed by the Senate and approved by the EB per the bylaws.
