Problem with omitting it from each armor description is that certain metals are allowed for certain armor types but not for others. Most of the fights seemed to be more about the gate being mended before it was "opened" after destruction. At least from what I saw. Adding the line to that wouldn't fix that problem.

I honestly never understood what the problem was with how we used cast spells. I could see changing invocation lines to open more RP options. But what was wrong just saying a spells name (if it didn't have an invocation line) instead of giving every single spell in the game those generic lines?

Just want to make sure of something before I rewrite my spells.

For defensive and utility spells, would the "I, name, invoke spell" count towards the required number of words for a spell?

For example, "...(145 words) I, mardux, invoke release portal"
