Dual wielding spells

Not normally one to propose a new spell or ability, so I'll try to phrase this in a make that makes it clear this is not a proposal, just a "what if" or a "would if be cool or sh***y if". Read a recent post of FB about using prayer touch and it got me thinking. If prayer touch ca...

Found at Burtonsville 9/8

I found a spy glass that looked like it would fit in with a pirate. I asked around and got the impression it belonged to a guy from Bloody Axe, I spoke with Notch who said he would deliver it to them (as he lives close by) and would speak with Sam about it.

Re: Stance on Hay Bail Walls

We do have battering Rams.
Pretty sure if you take a spear or any long stick with at least X number of people holding it with one hand it becomes a ram. After three hefty swings the gate is battered down.

The Orcs and I did this to Exsilium during a campout, shortly before dying horribly ;)

Re: Bellum Aeternus II

My wife is currently "touching up" all of her photos that she took at the event. I will put them up here when she is done. I have already asked for the "rough" version of them with little success. There are a lot, anyone who would like me to email a zip to them when they are done...

Re: Stance on Hay Bail Walls

It almost feels like spells like passwall are designed to work with walls that don't actually exist. Maybe just say that passwall weakens a section of wall allowing a combatant to smash through them. Another perk of straw forts would be that siege weapons could actually be used to blow holes in the ...

Re: A salute to Roleplay

Props to the two Elidorians that came up to the orks during the zombie campout with the Champion, the Leader and the High Priest. As we sat down, two Elidorians who never gave their names came up to our gate and said "Hey orks, do you wanna go do something stupid that will probably get us all ...

Tabled proposal updated

Not sure what the process is for getting a proposal a second look after it has been tabled. The Gambesons as AR1 has been updated to address the concerns that got it tabled. It should be ready for another go.

Re: Clerics are overpowered-Discussion

Next we will need a brown cover for blunt weapons. There are too many practical examples of cross less swords in both medieval history and fantasy literature to mandate quillions be used. it makes more sense to identify them by the flat vs round idea than by what it looks like from the side lines. I...

A salute to Roleplay

As a light role player myself, I always like to hear about moments in Darkon history when people make memorable moment through roleplay. Anyone have any good stories or examples of players who have gone above and beyond to truelly create unique and/or interesting in game moments for the club? Some e...

Re: YOUR NEWBIES LOOK LIKE $HIT DARKON!!!!!

It's not a PT shirt, this is what it actually is, minus the buttons I stand corrected. If you would like something a little more authenticate I do have at least one spare tunic that will fit you. Originally I purchased it for the angry old guy (to be forever known as D**** Bag now) and have no prob...

Re: YOUR NEWBIES LOOK LIKE $HIT DARKON!!!!!

The shorts I wear (only during summer) are a pair of plain brown, oversized, and have the stitching torn out along the bottom. No logos, plain, and the pockets are not normally visible. Does creating the exact same thing with a sewing machine automatically mean it is "medieval"? And the s...

Re: YOUR NEWBIES LOOK LIKE $HIT DARKON!!!!!

I gotta say I completely agree with Thrush. There really is no excuse for looking like crap after your first five events. Don't have money? T-tunics are inexpensive and can be made out of anything. An hour of hand stitching and your done. Your mothers old linen and some thread will run you a couple ...

Re: YOUR NEWBIES LOOK LIKE $HIT DARKON!!!!!

Just a reminder. I do keep extra garb(decent garb at that) in my vehicle at almost every event I attend. Just send your craptasticly garbed newbs over to Elidor and as for Cael. If I have a piece I will lend it out. So far everyone has been pretty good about returning the garb. I also wash everythin...

I ran into a similar problem with the Padded armor proposal though. Originally I listed specific materials that were necessary for construction, however after a brief discussion we decided that so long as it looked legit, it would be considered passing. (Just the look of the material, not the method...

Looking to trade

Want to trade my green and black brigadine for a coat of mail, preferably haubergeon style. My brig is well used but has been maintained and slightly modified, I am 6'3 200 to give you an indication of the size, but can be adjusted to fit a smaller person. I will accept cash, as I could use that to ...
