As my birfday is the 28th, I wish to honor you all by running the House of Cards battle on July 29th. I have my 2005 form all filled out and ready to go, as well as item cards and flags already done. Where do I send said form for EB approval?

Also for ease of team distinguishing, I was thinking of armbands for each suit. However, I have no desire to hand draw suits on 200 white arm bands like I did last time. Anyone with free time I can sublet this too, or what does everyone think about specific non armor colored armbands (pink, purple, black, etc) to distinguish teams?

Also Slindar, will you be reprising your role as King of Hearts?

We have Royal Court going on that day as well as play testing of ships and fortifications.

Speaking of...

As a reminder people who want this to happen need to bring supplies. Ropes, chalk, poles, carboard boxes, whatever...

Sorry for the thread necro, but a couple of things:

For this event, I am in need of 4 full time elders, 1 for each "team". If you are interested, please shoot me a PM. YOu will basically be in charge of watching your team for rules infractions, superior role play, and doing some point tallying during each hold.

I am looking for 1 individual to step up to be our King of Spades. This individual should be a darkon vet of 5+ years, who is charismatic enough to lead a force, and wear a decent amount of armor. Skilled fighter is a bonus . You will be facing King Slindar as the King of Hearts (injury permitting), Warlord Cort the King of Diamonds, and Soulo the King of Clubs. If interested or you wish to nominate someone, please PM me. All kings must meet Thrush's stamp of bad ass approval.

I will be arriving early at the site (11amish) to set up 4 keeps. These will be the keeps for each army. If you have some poles/rope you do not mind letting us borrow, it would be most awesome of you. If you like building forts (cough *Exillium( cough) your services are greatly appreciated as I dont =). Again please PM me.

Lastly if there is interest, and the EB approves, I would like to get vendors out to the event to set up in the barn once more, to peddle their wares, and hire the naughty nymph to provide food for the event. I will discuss it witht he EB and get back to everyone.
