Redland Field Issues for Crown War?

Post by Thrush Svartehjertet » 2012-10-19

Hey, so the Crown War is scheduled to be at Redland Middle School... There is a plenty big enough field there, but what if it rains? We haven't used the field there in MANY events far as I can remember... Is there a site we could move this to where there are NO field issues in case of rain? Unless, and this is a novel idea, we WANT to fight a war in the woods. I would be a HUGE fan of this... Shocking I know.

A woods Crown War would be ridiculous amounts of fun.

If it is pouring down rain there is no other site without rules disallowing use....EXCEPT for the unmowed section of Burtonsville.

Sieges in the woods suck, we won't be doing that.

I dunno, I'm kinda with Kobalos here... a woods war in the driving rain would feel SO *' real... Sieges suck anyway, it's why our team will win the first fight, just to prevent a lame ass siege.

I have no issue with fighting in the woods but completely disagree that a war should be fought there, unless of course Tarimstadt is located in the middle of a forrest.

I love sieges. Thrush I suggest building a siege engine that way you can join in on the fun. The key is building one that is accurate and can shoot farther than a Mage can throw a fireball. It can be done.

It can be. Or we could just * and complain till those pesky images can't use half their spells.
