All ship types we currently have fit in a single hex so each island would be about 3 hexes in regards to the map size. I can place just about anything you need on the map, just let me know what exactly you're looking for.
I could also do a representation of the portal if you have an idea of where you'd like that as well

It seems that you look down far enough in that search, you get chicks in bikinis. Everything comes full circle.

I care about nerf battle futures.

That guy looks less concerned with nerf battles and more concerned with weed smoking! In addition I think the picture behind him was a self commision:)

As far as our game hexes are concerned a single hex can hold a castle - city - and other structure like a mine and still have some distance on it between each indivual item. As far as boats boats have room to easily pass each other on the same hex but they just are not allowed to stop on the same hex (accept in instances of war). This was done to ease keeping track of boats and to figure in drift in water.

If we look at our movement rates we can get a rough idea of the actual sizes we are discussing...
Man or Woman can walk 12 movements a day - walking on a flat straight clear area costs 2 movement points a hex so a man or woman can walk 6 hexes a day. Average walking distance a hour ranges depending on factors from 3 MPH to 5 MPH so if we took the smallest rates of that movement at 3MPH and assume a "full day of movement is only 8 hours" then working on that it would be 8 hours x 3 MPH = a movement in 8 hours of 24 miles... if that distance is 6 hexes then 24 miles / 6 hexes = each hex being 4 miles... that is using the worse case senario...

A boat gets 12 movement points, each hex = 1 point so in one day a boat would move 12 hexes. If we figure the average speed at 12 MPH counting for up wind down wind and tacking when needed that would mean in 8 hours a sailboat would travel 96 miles. If we take that and work in the hexes we get 96 miles / 12 hexes = each hex is 8 miles across which is closer to the speed of a man or woman walking at the high side of MPH. so they are somewhat within the same general range if you consider the boat to be moving on average slower then 12 MPH as a average.

All this was orignally figured into play when we magde the orignal movement rules and such for the sizes we were assuming the hexes to be.

All that being said the mod and islands are less then 1/4 of a mile from edge to edge - small islands indeed so they would easily fit in one hex and a boat could still pull up and get a cool view of the actions on that island without affecting the fight ... unless of course they brought fabric or paint to cover the crystal globe and block out the sun...

Pretty spot on, though. I'm sure you could do one better.

Cupcakes and candy canes are period legit. I checked wikipedia.

Yeah, grapes only count as candy when fed to you by nubile slaves as you lounge in a roman chaise.

Not sure what he was going for with that.

Solomon, I am not sure we've met, but please seek me out next event. We have much to discuss. Anyone wearing the candle with the blue flame will be able to point me out.

Thanks.

"If sailors want to come with us, they need to touch the portal pole."
