I used to love A/C/S. I feel that this battle gets thrown off of peoples calenders or its not worth them coming out. I think that we should keep the same day, but allow shields. I have now realized that this event turns into nothing but archer duels and anyone not using a bow turns into a pincushion. I think it needs to be changed. Anyone agree.

I propose alternative days... One a/c, one a/s, one s/c etc why not switch it up.

Yep it looks like there is only 1 ACS day scheduled for the year. I would be fine with making it just a/c and then the elders call for "no shields" a couple times throughout the day. I had to work Sun so I couldnt make it out, but I hate acs day now. If you dont have a blackweapon, spear, or bow, you usually lose.

I live less than 4 miles from Oregon Ridge, but I stayed home because archer-great weapon day gets boring after the first few rounds, even if I have a bow and a black weapon.

Yep. Currently it's like a practice day, but lame.

Shields allow for a decent dynamic, and still allow for easy wounding if you want to arch for some reason.

There's really no point in having a day in which there's archery but no shields, unless you really want to stroke the ego of archers. Which is ok ( I guess), but do that * on snapchat.

I am fully behind just A/C day.

No powers or special abilities for anyone. Just pick up the gear you want, including shields.

In fact, let's make it A/C/R day. RELICLESS.

Any day I don't have to lug the relics out and have to repair them after is OK with me. D*mn Tyriel broke the ONLY shield out there.

But seriously, I'm down with making it a/c/r or even just a/c.

I'd say Armorless, Classless PLUS no missile weapons and black does white damage. THAT, my friends, is a fun change to Darkon. Not just a practice day with no magic... We have shields every day...
