Surprisingly great weather today

Great day of fighting. Despite the hike back up from the fighting area in which I thought I died twice, today was a great day for fighting. Sunny, 55 degrees, low winds. I had to shed layers hehe.

Thanks as always to the elders for stepping up to run two teams and to everyone that stabbed me in the back, or shield kicked me in the stomach *cough*Urgot*cough*. Fun times.

Special thanks to Keira for carrying my shield as I tried to juggle my other gear and hobble on my gimped foot. I owe you a beer at the march campout.

Groin is a legal target zone in Darkon. Lots of people were blowing off shots (red to hide etc...) yesterday, it may have been mounting frustration.

Probably. Keep in mind that I have fought exactly THREE battles with the shield I bought from you, so I havent quite "mastered" it yet. I tend to take taps to my left shoulder from usually taller opponents while I am often trying to block spear shots at my legs/groin.

Of course we all cant be badasses ya know, Im happy just winning some fights =P

Drop in your stance about 3 to 5 inches, move the shield straps down 2 inches. Trust me.

Yeah I was thinking abouut he shield strap idea. LOL of course Yaron would have a field day with my shield being 2 inches higher stabbing me in that damned leg. Thank god for plate leg greaves. thanks gents
