Armor on Hands

I cannot find using the search function on the pdf rule book, where it says what is and is not allowed on your hands in Darkon. I searched:

Material
Gauntlet
Gauntlets
Glove
Gloves
Below the wrist
Armor on Hands
Fingers

If I'm new to Darkon and want to know if my metal gauntlets are legal for play, I have just found out nothing.

So, what the * is the ACTUAL RULE on armored gauntlets? I am not asking anyone's opinion, please, just the rule from the rule book.

I did a quick search on Fingers. It said "see sexy beast."

Per the rulebook:

Additionally, for safety reasons, metallic armor below a player’s wrist or on the hand itself may not be worn without express permission from the Noble Council.

So it looks like all that is needed is to present the armor to the NC, and have them vote/rule on it.

I read through some of the old NC conversations on this a while back also and would like to point out that there is one metal armor that is allowed and others that have been specifically disallowed. Most fall into the latter category. I'm sure that you would use common sense before approaching the NC, and I encourage others to do so.
